I have been in the business for over thirty years as an agent and manager. I was never comfortable referring my clients to acting coaches until I found out about Christine. I refer everyone to her now. She helped many of my clients become working and successful actors!

THIRTY YEARS OF ACTING ADVICE IN ONE BOOK

Christine McClure has more than thirty years of experience coaching actors one-on-one, on set, and in group classes. Her students have appeared in major features and television series and have worked with Oscar-winning directors Steven Soderbergh, Stanley Kubrick, Sofia Coppola, the Coen brothers, and more. Now Christine puts that experience to work for you by sharing her techniques and giving you a literal front-row seat in her dramatic acting classes. This book is an indispensable part of any teen actor’s training.

She began as a young stage and screen actor herself, working with Academy Award–winning talents like Peter Weir, Peter Bogdanovich, John Cassavetes, and Gena Rowlands. Later, she trained with John Lehne of The Actors Studio in the Stanislavski/Strasberg Method. It was then that she discovered her love of teaching, and she has since devoted herself to training young professional actors, many of whom have achieved international fame.

“Christine McClure’s passion for teaching teen actors, along with her deep understanding of the issues facing young actors, makes “Drama for Teen Actors” a must read for teen actors and teachers alike. Her knowledge and respect for the art and craft of acting, and the simplicity and clarity of her approach, make for a much-needed, uncomplicated step-by-step program. It is a great start for teens preparing for careers as actors.” - Robert Burgos.

Robert Burgos has coached actors, and directors, on films for most of the major studios, as well as taught Directing Actors at UCLA, LMU and Chapman University.
